I am originally from Cocoa Beach, Fl.  I am a third year at UF majoring in Nutritional Sciences and I plan on pursuing a career in medicine.  I currently volunteer at the American Cancer Society?s Winn Dixie Hope Lodge and I am involved in Campus Crusade for Christ. In my spare time I play sports, watch gator football, go surfing, and I work as a certified nursing assistant. I joined CARES because cancer has reared its ugly head into my life numerous times and I want to prevent it from hurting others. Through CARES, we can help to fund cancer research. I believe in the need for our cause but most of all I believe in our ability to make a difference.
