Sophie Sembajwe is the current treasurer of CARES. This year she is a junior at the University of Florida. Born and bred in Africa, she is Ugandan by nationality. She is majoring in Microbiology and Cell Science and is minoring in French. She is also seeking a certificate in International Relations. Sophie’s hobbies include meeting new people, discussing important and moving issues, dancing and listening to music. She is currently a member of Phi Eta Sigma, the national honor society and the Co-social Director of the African Students Union.
